We are located not too far from Atlanta in the North Georgia foothills of the Appalachians.
That "sole proprietorship" stuff above means that Harvey Nowland thinks he owns it, but his wife Bobbie is the CEO. All you really need to know about Harvey is that he loves God, his wife and family, friends, his wife's cooking, writing, Wisconsin, and the Green Bay Packers, in that order.
But as long as you asked, I do bring a rich and diverse background of life experience to the writing desk.
After military service I married Roberta Gail Jordan, and following the birth of our second child we moved from Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Texas. There I served three small churches as pastor while completing college and seminary.
Attended the University of Wisconsin and graduated from the University of Corpus Christi's Texas A&M (Bachelor of Arts). Earned graduate degrees from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (Master of Theology), and Luther Rice Seminary (Doctor of Ministry).
I've lived in Germany, Costa Rica, and Peru, and journeyed extensively throughout Europe, South America, and Asia.
My wife and I have served churches in Georgia and Pennsylvania as senior pastor, and I was senior staff writer with Larry Burkett and Crown Financial Ministries from 1995-2002.
In addition to what we bring to the table personally, the Associates part of Stone Trace means that we have affiliations with writers, artists, and other diverse service sources, including CD and tape duplication and Web site design.
